We’re thankful for our Lucky Stars! The Garfield County Fair & Rodeo runs on volunteer power. Join our team as we celebrate decades of community, family, friendship and western culture!
Lucky Star volunteers are needed throughout Fair week for set up and take down, Guest Services, Maintenance, Open Exhibits, Contests, Ticketed Events, our Headliner Concert, and much more!
Benefits of volunteering include:
• Invitation to Kick-Off Events.
• One General Admission event ticket for each 4 hours of service.
• One meal voucher for each 4 hours of service.
• Complimentary cold drinks and snacks during the Fair.
• T-shirts and a goody bag.
• Recognition and thanks on social media.
• Thank you announcements at the Fair.
The Garfield County Fair Board, county staff members, and volunteers have been working for months to plan the fair, but we need help for the Fair itself. Anyone interested in being a Lucky Star can apply below and tell us their interests in helping and their time availability.
“We encourage groups of folks to represent their company or organization by helping out in an area of the fair or for an event,” said the members of the Garfield County Fair Board. “This is a fun, countywide event. Helping hands not only give us a chance to run a better fair, but also give an opportunity for residents to help out young people who are seeking to better their talents and skills, and to enhance our community events.”
