Beef Show

The Beef Show will include Garfield County 4-H and Rifle Future Farmers of America (FFA) members exhibiting in the following classes: Showmanship, Market and Breeding. 

Beef Showmanship: This class, Beef Showmanship, allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to be judged based on the preparation of animals for show, their apparent training, and the showmen’s own appearance and behavior. Showmen are separated into three categories; Junior 8-10 years old, Intermediate 11-13 years old, and Seniors 14-18 years old, based on their birthdays as of December 31 of the previous year. A Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Overall Beef Showman will be selected from the Champion and Reserve Champion exhibitors in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions. 

Breeding Beef: The Breeding Beef show allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to feed, breed, and exhibit Breeding Beef in these classes; Registered Heifer Calf, Commercial Heifer Calf, Cow with Calf, and Producer.

Goat Show

The Goat Show will include Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA members exhibiting in the following classes: Showmanship, Market, and Breeding. 

Goat Showmanship: Goat Showmanship allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to be judged based on the preparation of animals for show, their apparent training, and the showmen’s own appearance and behavior. Showmen are separated into three categories; Junior 8-10 years old, Intermediate 11-13 years old, and Seniors 14-18 years old, based on their birthdays as of December 31 of the previous year. A Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Overall Goat Showman will be selected from the Champion and Reserve Champion exhibitors in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions. 

Breeding Goat: The Breeding Goat show allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to feed, breed and exhibit Breeding Goats: Does and Bucks, Producers, Pygmy, Dairy, Meat Breed, and Fiber.

Rabbit Show

The Rabbit Show will include Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA members exhibiting in the following classes: Showmanship, Market, and Breeding. 

Rabbit Showmanship: Rabbit Showmanship allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to be judged based on the preparation of animals for show, their apparent training, and the showmen’s own appearance and behavior. Showmen are separated into three categories; Junior 8-10 years old, Intermediate 11-13 years old, and Seniors 14-18 years old, based on their birthdays as of December 31 of the previous year. A Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Overall Rabbit Showman will be selected from the Champion and Reserve Champion exhibitors in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions. 

Breeding Rabbit: The Breeding Rabbit show allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to feed, breed and exhibit Breeding Rabbits: Bucks and Does, Producer, and Fur.

Sheep Show

The Sheep Show will include Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA members exhibiting in the following classes: Showmanship, Market, and Breeding. 

Sheep Showmanship: Sheep Showmanship allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to be judged based on the preparation of animals for show, their apparent training, and the showmen’s own appearance and behavior. Showmen are separated into three categories; Junior 8-10 years old, Intermediate 11-13 years old, and Seniors 14-18 years old, based on their birthdays as of December 31 of the previous year. A Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Overall Sheep Showman will be selected from the Champion and Reserve Champion exhibitors in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions.

Breeding Sheep: The Breeding Sheep show allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to feed, breed and exhibit Breeding Sheep: Ewes and Rams, Producer, and Wool.

Poultry Show

The poultry Show will include Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA members exhibiting in the following classes: Showmanship, Market, and Breeding.

Poultry Showmanship: Poultry Showmanship allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to be judged based on the preparation of animals for show, their apparent training, and the showmen’s own appearance and behavior. Showmen are separated into three categories; Junior 8-10 years old, Intermediate 11-13 years old, and Seniors 14-18 years old, based on their birthdays as of December 31 of the previous year. A Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Overall Poultry Showman will be selected from the Champion and Reserve Champion exhibitors in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions.

Breeding Poultry: The Breeding Poultry show allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to feed, breed and exhibit Breeding Poultry: Large Breeds, Bantam Breeds, Specialty Chickens Class, Waterfowl Class, Miscellaneous Fowl, and Producer.

Swine Show

The Swine Show will include Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA members exhibiting in the following classes: Showmanship, Market, and Breeding.

Swine Showmanship: Swine Showmanship allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to be judged based on the preparation of animals for show, their apparent training, and the showmen’s own appearance and behavior. Showmen are separated into three categories; Junior 8-10 years old, Intermediate 11-13 years old, and Seniors 14-18 years old, based on their birthdays as of December 31 of the previous year. A Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Overall Swine Showman will be selected from the Champion and Reserve Champion exhibitors in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions.

Breeding Swine: The Breeding Swine show allows Garfield County 4-H and Rifle FFA exhibitors to feed, breed and exhibit Breeding Swine: Gilt (under 6 months), Gilt (over 6 months), and Producer.
