2023 Garfield County Fair Open Exhibits Program

(Formerly Open Class) The Open Exhibits program of the Garfield County Fair gives residents the opportunity to brag and say, “See what I can do!” Adults, seniors, children, and professionals have the opportunity to enter exhibits in a range of categories, including: Fine Arts – art & photography Quilting Needlework Crafts Craftsmanship Food preservation Baked goods Floriculture Noxious weed display Horticulture – fruits Horticulture – vegetables Special contests

Registration

Online preregistration is highly encouraged! Register today! Pre-entries are due Sunday, July 23, 2023. If you need assistance, please contact the fairgrounds office at 970-625-2514.

Judging

Exhibits are judged on their own merit by a professional judge and ribbons are awarded accordingly. First, second, and third place ribbons will be awarded in each class at the discretion of the judge. Premiums are paid in each department.

• Best of fair – $25
• Grand champion (rosette ribbons) – $10
• Reserve champion (rosette ribbons) – $6
• First place – $3
• Second place – $2
• Third place – $1
