Royalty Coordinator volunteer position

Garfield County Fair & Rodeo, Fair Board is looking for a volunteer Royalty Coordinator. There is an immediate opening for this important volunteer position.

The qualifications we are looking for include:

•    Solid experience and knowledge of horsemanship, especially equine safety
•    The ability to teach and educate novice, intermediate and proficient riders
•    Knowledge of riding patterns and the ability to teach them
•    Training riders how to carry flags
•    Mentoring on public speaking and appearances
•    Strong team building and leading
•    Open to direction from fair board members
•    Communication with participants, parents, fair board members and liaisons
•    Ability to coordinate schedules for the team for practice and appearances
